Ad Hoc Outbound Messages

Sending eAdaptor outbound messages on-demand can be useful for testing purposes or resending messages after some type of failure if required.

Sending Manually via Actions Menu​

XUS (XML Universal Shipment) and XUE (XML Universal Event) messages can be sent on-demand from any record using the Actions > Send Universal XML > Universal Shipment or Universal Event menu option:

Universal Shipment​

The Universal Shipment menu item can be used to send an XUS (XML Universal Shipment) message to the eAdaptor Outbound Service.

Recipient Type should be set to ORP (Organization Proxy):

Universal Event​

The Universal Event menu item can be used to send an XUE (XML Universal Event) message to the eAdaptor Outbound Service.

Recipient Type should be set to ORP (Organization Proxy) and Event Type should be set to the event you require:
